What is a FUND-RAISER?
A career as a fund-raiser involves planning and implementing strategies to obtain financial support for various organizations and causes. Fund-raisers work in various sectors such as non-profit organizations, universities, hospitals, political campaigns, and more.
Fund-raisers are responsible for researching potential donors, cultivating relationships with existing donors, and seeking new sources of funding. They may organize fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals to raise money. Additionally, fund-raisers are involved in creating and managing donor databases, tracking donations, and preparing reports on fundraising progress.
To be successful in this career, fund-raisers need strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills. They must be able to connect with donors, clearly articulate the mission and value of the organization or cause, and persuade individuals or groups to contribute financially. Additionally, excellent organizational and project management skills are essential to plan and execute successful fundraising initiatives.
There are several career paths within fund-raising including major gifts officer, annual giving officer, corporate partnerships manager, grant writer, and development director. Career advancement opportunities often involve moving into more senior roles or working with larger and more prominent organizations.
A bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, communications, marketing, or public relations is usually required for entry-level positions. Many fund-raisers also pursue additional certifications or professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and credibility in the field.
Overall, a career as a fund-raiser can be fulfilling for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact and helping organizations achieve their financial goals. It allows for creativity, relationship-building, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who are committed to supporting causes they care about.

About Me/This Site
Hi, My name is Amy. I've been designing images for POD (Print-On-Demand) Sites for 14 years as a "side job". I started with CafePress in 2008, and RedBubble in 2022. I've been trying to bring as much as possible over to RedBubble. Shortly after starting with RedBubble, I discovered they were not allowing my designs/products to be index by Google and other search engines. I decided to create this site to try to get my RedBubble products seen by others. Especially those cute stickers!
