What is a Man?

A "man" is an adult human male. In terms of biological sex, men typically have male reproductive anatomy, including male genitalia, and they typically have XY chromosomes. However, it's important to note that gender identity and expression can be more complex than just biological factors.

Gender identity is a deeply held sense of being male, female, a blend of both, or neither, and it may not necessarily align with an individual's biological sex. Some individuals may be assigned male at birth but identify as female or non-binary. Gender identity is a personal and deeply felt aspect of a person's identity and may not always align with societal or cultural expectations.

In many societies, "man" is also used to describe an adult male in terms of their gender role and cultural expectations. These expectations can vary widely by culture and era and may include roles related to family, work, and societal responsibilities. Gender roles and expectations are evolving, and many societies are moving towards more inclusive and flexible definitions of what it means to be a man.
