What is a PRODUCT ENGINEER?
A product engineer is a professional who is responsible for designing, developing and testing new products or improving existing ones. They work in various industries and collaborate with different teams, such as design, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure that the product meets the desired specifications and requirements.
The main responsibilities of a product engineer include:
1. Designing and developing new products: Product engineers are involved in the entire product development process, from concept and design to production. They utilize their technical skills and knowledge to create innovative solutions and ensure that the product's functionality, quality, and performance are up to standards.
2. Testing and validation: Product engineers conduct thorough testing and validation processes to ensure that the product meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards. They may perform various tests, such as stress testing, durability testing, and performance testing, to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Product engineers work closely with other teams, such as design, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure effective collaboration and coordination throughout the product development process. They communicate and share information to ensure that all aspects of the product, including its design, manufacturing process, and marketability, are taken into consideration.
4. Continuous improvement: Product engineers strive for continuous improvement by analyzing feedback from customers, stakeholders, and field tests. They use this information to identify areas for enhancement and work towards enhancing the product's performance, functionality, and reliability.
5. Documentation and reporting: Product engineers are responsible for creating and maintaining detailed documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and test results. They need to document the product development process and keep track of any changes or modifications made throughout the lifecycle of the product.
Skills and qualifications required for a career as a product engineer may include:

About Me/This Site
Hi, My name is Amy. I've been designing images for POD (Print-On-Demand) Sites for 14 years as a "side job". I started with CafePress in 2008, and RedBubble in 2022. I've been trying to bring as much as possible over to RedBubble. Shortly after starting with RedBubble, I discovered they were not allowing my designs/products to be index by Google and other search engines. I decided to create this site to try to get my RedBubble products seen by others. Especially those cute stickers!
